The Voice Within: Intuition, Dreams, and Spiritual Senses

Everyone Has Intuition (They Just Forgot)
Intuition is not rare. It’s not mystical. And it’s not reserved for the “gifted.”
Intuition is a natural human ability. Every person is born with it. But most are taught—directly or indirectly—to ignore it.
We’re conditioned to prioritize logic over feeling, performance over presence, and external authority over inner knowing. Over time, the inner voice doesn’t disappear—it just gets drowned out.
Intuition doesn’t compete.
It doesn’t shout.
It whispers.
It shows up as a gut feeling, a sudden knowing, a moment of stillness, or an unexplained sense of peace—or resistance.
The more you honor it, the clearer it becomes.
The more you dismiss it, the fainter it feels.
Reconnecting with your intuition isn’t about becoming something new.
It’s about remembering who you already are.
Your Inner GPS: Ask, Pause, Feel
Think of intuition as your internal GPS.
It knows where you’re meant to go.
It knows the route.
You just have to ask, pause, and feel.
Most people ask for guidance, then immediately override it with urgency, overthinking, and outside input.
But intuition doesn’t chase you down. It waits for stillness.
Here’s the simplest practice:
- Ask a clear question
- Pause long enough to receive
- Feel how your body responds
If you feel calm, open, or aligned—keep going.
If you feel tight, hesitant, or constricted—slow down or reconsider.
Intuition is not a single answer.
It’s a living conversation.
My Intuitive Senses: Knowing, Hearing, and Dreaming
Like many people, my intuitive senses showed up early.
I saw spirits as a child. As I got older, the messages shifted into other forms:
- Claircognizance (Clear Knowing): I often just know things without logic or explanation. The insight arrives whole, grounded, and calm.
- Clairaudience (Clear Hearing): I sometimes hear distinct phrases in my mind that don’t sound like my inner chatter.
- Dreamwork (Seeing in Dreams): I dream things before they happen or receive intuitive insight in my sleep. Many of these dreams have come to pass with undeniable clarity.
I don’t share this to elevate myself. I share it to normalize the experience.
We all receive guidance in different ways. None are more special than the others. They’re simply different languages of the same inner intelligence.
When Intuition Changes
Sometimes, what once felt right begins to feel wrong.
That doesn’t mean you were wrong before.
It means you’re listening now.
Alignment isn’t rigid—it’s responsive.
If something once felt expansive and now feels restrictive, you’re allowed to stop.
You’re allowed to change directions without shame.
Intuition is a moment-by-moment relationship. Not a one-time answer.
Dreams: The Intuition You Sleep Through
Asking for Guidance at Night
Dreams are one of the most underutilized spiritual tools we have.
Before bed, I often write down a question. Not casually—but with clear intention.
More often than not, a dream will come that either answers the question directly or points me toward the next step.
Dreams bypass logic. They speak in truth.
They are raw, symbolic, sometimes literal, and always honest.
Anyone can access this kind of guidance. All it takes is trust, attention, and intention.
How to Discern Dreams Without Fear
Not every dream is a prophecy.
Some are emotional processing.
Some are energetic releases.
Some are symbolic nudges.
Some are just dreams.
If you interpret every dream through fear, you’ll disconnect from your own power.
Instead, ask:
- What emotion did this dream bring up?
- What part of me needed to see this?
- Is this a symbol of something ending or transforming?
Even “death dreams” often don’t mean literal death. They symbolize change, release, or emotional distance. If a dream feels urgent or concerning, respond with quiet prayer, not panic.
When to Stay Quiet About Dreams
Not every dream should be spoken aloud.
Some are meant to be held.
Some are for you and you alone.
Some lose their potency when shared too soon or with the wrong audience.
Discernment is part of intuitive maturity. Ask yourself:
- Is this dream for reflection, release, prayer, or sharing?
Sometimes, silence is the most powerful way to honor the message.
Activating Your Inner Knowing
The more still you become, the louder intuition gets.
Not through effort. Through presence.
This doesn’t require hours of meditation.
It requires tiny pauses, everyday listening, and a willingness to feel before you act.
Your inner knowing is already active.
You don’t need to activate it—you need to allow it.
Trust invites clarity.
Stillness invites truth.
Journaling: A Portal for Intuition
My life shifted when I began writing intentionally—not to vent, but to create.
Journaling became my tool for clarity, healing, and manifestation.
Not a diary, but a spiritual technology. A blueprint. A mirror. A sacred altar.
I write what I want, not what I fear.
I write prayers for the people I love.
I ask questions and let dreams bring answers.
How I’ve Manifested Healing in People I Love
I’ve watched people I care deeply about grow, evolve, and transform — not because I nagged or begged or pleaded — but because I wrote them into alignment.
I’ve written my sons into their strength, their clarity, their maturity, and their peace. I’ve written family relationships into restoration, softness, and grace. I’ve written prayers into my journal that later returned as answers in real life.
Do I think journaling caused these changes? Not exactly. But I do believe that my words were part of the shift. I believe journaling holds energy. And when that energy is rooted in love, clarity, and trust — it has reach.
I journal on behalf of the people I love. Not to control their journey, but to support it energetically. To send out a frequency of belief that says, “I see you in your wholeness, even if you don’t yet.”
That kind of love has power. And the page holds it well.
A Few Ways to Begin
You don’t need the perfect setting.
You just need a moment of honesty.
Start with:
- “I am becoming…”
- A prayer for someone you love
- 3 things to release, 3 things to receive
- A letter to your future self
- A question you’d like answered in a dream
Or simply write: “I am open. I am listening. I am ready.”
You don’t have to be a writer. You just have to be willing.
Because once you start writing like your words matter, you’ll start living like they do too.
Pause for a Moment and Ask Yourself: What would shift in my life if I trusted what I felt, even when I couldn’t explain it?
